Hip pain treatment for crash injuries in Forest Park

This page serves auto accident patients whose hip pain remains after a motor vehicle collision. The focused evaluation considers the hip, lower back, nerves, and nearby soft tissue because pain may travel or appear away from its source.

The buyer decision is whether targeted pain care fits the injury. Our team reviews symptoms, checks movement, and explains whether an injection, nerve-focused procedure, further imaging, or another medical step makes sense. We don't provide general primary care, urgent care, or workers' compensation care.

  • Bring accident details, current symptoms, and any records from earlier care.
  • Tell the physician where pain starts and where it travels.
  • Ask how each recommended procedure relates to the examination findings.
  • Discuss MedPay or attorney lien arrangements before the visit when applicable.

Process

How the hip pain evaluation moves forward

1

Review the crash and symptoms

The physician records how the collision happened, where pain began, and whether symptoms travel into the back or leg.

2

Complete the physical examination

The examination checks hip motion, strength, sensation, tenderness, and signs of nerve or spine involvement.

3

Assess imaging and movement

The physician considers X-rays, MRI scans, and movement findings when those details help explain the pain.

4

Explain suitable treatment

The physician discusses targeted injections, nerve procedures, or other care that matches the examination findings.

5

Document the care plan

The practice records the diagnosis, treatment discussion, procedure details, and follow-up needs.

A client scenario this service addresses

A Forest Park driver may seek care when hip pain continues after a collision and daily movement feels limited. We assess the hip with the related back and nerve symptoms, then explain whether targeted treatment or further medical review fits the findings.

Questions about crash-related hip pain care

How is hip pain diagnosed during an evaluation?

Ultrasound imaging may support the evaluation, but diagnosis starts with the injury history and physical examination. Movement testing checks range of motion, strength, tenderness, and pain patterns. The physician may review X-rays or MRI scans when those findings need more detail. Premier Injury Specialists then explains whether targeted treatment fits the documented injury.

What should I bring to my first appointment for Hip Pain Treatment?

Accident details, medical records, imaging reports, and a current medicine list help the physician assess your injury. Bring information about when pain began and whether it travels into your back or leg. Our team can also discuss MedPay or attorney lien arrangements for eligible patients before care begins.

Which treatment may fit pain from a herniated disc?

A herniated disc with related hip or leg pain may call for a spine-focused evaluation and targeted treatment. The physician connects the examination with imaging and nerve symptoms before recommending an option. Epidural steroid injections may be discussed when the findings support them. Physical therapy referrals aren't listed as a service here, so the plan stays within our pain management scope.

When should hip pain be checked after a crash?

Hip pain that persists, limits movement, or travels into the leg deserves a medical evaluation after a collision. New weakness, numbness, or severe pain needs prompt medical attention. Same-day evaluations are often available, and the physician can decide whether further imaging or targeted treatment is appropriate.

Why might the pain source be in my back?

Lower back nerves and discs can send pain into the hip, buttock, or leg. Movement testing, strength checks, sensation checks, and imaging review help separate hip symptoms from spine-related pain. Our physicians treat crash-related back and nerve conditions, including sciatica and radiculopathy, when those findings fit the evaluation.

What changes the cost of an injection or nerve procedure?

The selected procedure, examination needs, records, imaging review, and billing arrangement affect the cost. We explain the planned care and provide upfront pricing information before treatment. Eligible patients may discuss MedPay or attorney lien arrangements, which can affect out-of-pocket payment at the visit.

Who provides this injury-focused pain care?

Premier Injury Specialists provides this care through board-certified physicians in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, along with a certified physician assistant. The practice focuses on motor vehicle collision injuries. Treatment plans remain physician-led and may include injections, nerve procedures, and medical documentation.
