Treatment may include physical therapy, activity changes, pain medicine, stretching exercises, or an injection when medically suitable. Seek urgent medical help for severe symptoms or a new loss of function.

Hip Pain Treatment in Clarkston for crash-related hip pain

Hip pain after a motor vehicle collision can overlap with back pain, sciatica, soft tissue injury, or nerve irritation. This page is for people who need a focused plan for hip symptoms after a crash, not general primary care or workers’ compensation care.

The main decision is whether the pain calls for conservative care, a targeted procedure, or both. We review the injury history, current symptoms, and available medical records, then explain the next step in plain language. Patients can request care across Metro Atlanta, including Clarkston, through our clinics in Stockbridge and Buckhead.

  • Bring any accident records, imaging reports, medication details, and prior treatment notes you have.
  • Tell us where the pain starts, what worsens it, and whether it travels into the leg.
  • Ask which nonsurgical options fit your findings before agreeing to a procedure.

What patients get from focused hip pain care

A physician-LED treatment decision

Your plan is shaped by board-certified pain management physicians and a certified physician assistant. We connect the exam, symptoms, and crash history before recommending care.

Options beyond a procedure

Physical therapy, stretching exercises, activity changes, and pain medication may support the plan. The right mix depends on your findings and treatment goals.

Clear records for coordinated care

We document injury findings and treatment in one practice. This service is not the right fit for general primary care, urgent care, or workers’ compensation care.

Questions about managing hip pain after a crash

What nonsurgical treatments can help relieve hip pain for Hip Pain Treatment?

Joint injections can help relieve hip pain when an evaluation supports their use. Other options include physical therapy, pain medication review, stretching exercises, and activity changes. The physician considers the injury pattern, related symptoms, and available records before discussing a plan. Premier Injury Specialists explains each option clearly, so you can understand the reason for the recommended care.

How do I prepare for my first pain appointment?

Your first appointment goes more smoothly when you bring accident records, imaging reports, medication details, and prior treatment notes. Write down where the pain starts and what makes it worse. We use those details during the injury evaluation, then discuss suitable care. You don't need to choose a procedure before the consultation.

Which details should I confirm before agreeing to an injection for Hip Pain Treatment?

The treatment target, reason for the procedure, expected role, and other available options should be clear first. Ask which finding supports the injection and what activity guidance follows it. We explain the plan in plain language and review relevant medicines. Results vary, and a medical provider should answer personal risk questions.

When is hip pain a reason to seek urgent help?

Severe pain, a new loss of function, or sudden weakness calls for urgent medical attention. A pain clinic evaluation fits ongoing crash-related pain that needs focused assessment and treatment planning. Premier Injury Specialists does not provide urgent care. Seek emergency help for serious or rapidly worsening symptoms before arranging a routine appointment.

Why might hip pain come with back or leg symptoms?

Hip pain can overlap with spinal, nerve, soft tissue, or joint injuries after a collision. The symptom path and movement pattern help the physician decide what needs review. We consider related conditions such as sciatica, radiculopathy, and herniated discs when planning accident-injury care. The evaluation helps separate overlapping pain sources.

What decides the cost of a hip pain consultation or procedure?

The evaluation findings, records reviewed, treatment selected, and procedure needs decide the cost. Free Consultations are available through Premier Injury Specialists. MedPay and attorney liens may help eligible patients receive care without an out-of-pocket payment at the time of the visit. Ask about your payment route during scheduling.
