Why this care fits crash-related pain

Physician-LED injury assessment

The first decision is whether your symptoms fit crash-related care. Board-certified pain management physicians assess the injury pattern and create a physician-led treatment plan.

Targeted procedure planning

The next decision concerns the treatment area and pain source. We may discuss epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, or joint injections when they fit the findings.

A clear service limit

This service fits injuries caused by motor vehicle collisions. It is the wrong fit for general primary care, urgent care needs, or workers’ compensation care.

The scope this service is meant to handle

A person in Morrow may notice pain after the collision, then develop numbness or headaches later. We assess the symptom pattern, review available records, and explain whether treatment planning or further medical review is appropriate.

Process

How we complete the injury evaluation

1

Review the collision and symptoms

We discuss how the crash happened, when symptoms began, and how pain affects movement and daily tasks.

2

Check the affected body areas

We assess pain, movement, sensation, and nerve-related signs in the areas connected to your symptoms.

3

Match findings to treatment options

We explain whether medication review, an injection, a nerve block, or another treatment may fit the findings.

4

I had a great experience at premier injury specialist after my car accident. From the moment I walked in, Tracy, the patient coordinator, made sure I understood the process and felt comfortable. Tony, the medical assistant, did an amazing job explaining the procedure in detail, which eased my nerves. Dr. Vyas thoroughly reviewed my MRI and took the time to explain my condition and treatment options. He was very honest and upfront about the procedure, making sure I truly needed the injection before administering it. His transparency and genuine care for my well-being reassured me that this office isn’t just in it for the money — they are truly invested in their patients’ health. I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of pain management. They provide exceptional care with professionalism and integrity.

Questions about crash injury evaluations

When should I seek an evaluation for neck pain after a crash?

Neck pain deserves an evaluation when it continues, worsens, limits movement, or appears with numbness or headaches. Premier Injury Specialists reviews the symptom pattern and crash history first. Our physicians then explain the care options that fit the findings. Seek urgent medical attention for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, especially with weakness or major loss of function.

What should I bring to my first appointment for Auto Accident Injury Evaluation?

Accident records, imaging reports, medication details, and symptom notes help us understand your condition. Bring the date of the collision and a list of where pain or numbness appears. We’ll review the information with you and identify any records that could support the medical assessment. You don’t need to wait for every document before requesting a consultation.

Which treatments may follow the evaluation?

Treatment may include medication review, epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, occipital nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, or joint injections. The recommended option depends on the affected area and clinical findings. Our physicians explain the purpose, risks, and next steps before treatment. Results vary, so no procedure guarantees the same outcome for every patient.

How does the practice handle payment for crash care?

Payment planning may include MedPay or an attorney lien for eligible patients. The arrangement depends on your case and the care recommended. Our staff can explain the paperwork and discuss whether an out-of-pocket payment is due at the visit. Free consultations are available for discussing your injury and care needs.

Why can numbness appear with back pain after a collision?

Numbness can occur when an irritated nerve affects sensation along the back, hip, or leg. Our assessment checks the symptom pattern, movement, and related nerve findings. Tell us whether numbness is spreading or affecting strength. That information helps our physicians decide whether targeted treatment or further review is appropriate.

What is the difference between a facet injection and a medial branch block?

A facet injection treats pain around a facet joint, while a medial branch block targets nerves that serve the joint. Both procedures address different structures in the spine. Our physicians choose between them after reviewing symptoms and examination findings. They’ll explain the purpose of the selected procedure before scheduling treatment.
